This movie was brought over by a friend who is well known for awful movies... and so it continues... Terrible action. The explosions of the helicopters were basically cheap looking explosions pasted over top of the helicopter image and then cutting away. The primary helicopter crash scene was basically wild rapid cut scenes of random Hueys (umm yeah.. i thought it was a vietnam movie at first because let's see, the military hardly uses them any more...) and a less than excited pilot saying "we're going down." I've heard people sound more urgent about finding a bathroom. Aside from corneyness, the human aspect of the movie is not realistic, the story is not entertaining. They probably thought they could make some money by stealing "Blackhawk Down" and turning it into jungle theme, except they couldnt afford to have Blackhawks, or any helicopters for that matter, and just compiled random pre-existing shots to make a movie. Seriously, are there people out there who actually would enjoy watching a movie like this? Do yourself a favor, go watch blackhawk down, and if you've seen it, go watch it again, it'll still be much more entertaining. (Although laughing at the horriblness of this movie was fun too....) it's up to you. |
