On average I was impressed by the acting and the fact that the African accents were mostly Ugandan- kudos Forest and especially Kerry. I wish they could have mentioned more of the atrocities of Amin and the fact that alot of people did not support him, but I guess with Amin there was so much material that they couldn't cover it all.
Artistic license was taken with the story- Kay's affair with the white doctor... she is rumoured to have had an affair but with a Ugandan doctor. The abortion and subsequent dismemberment all allegedly happened though no one is sure at whose hands.
All in all, a good movie. I will recommend it to others. |
