It didn't take real long to realize this very promising movie with a stellar storyline and great actors...would disappoint and NOT live up to the hype leading in. Judging by the amount of people in the theater this movie will debut at #1 but word-of-mouth should kill any chance of it staying there!
TOO MANY questions were presenting throughout this movie and left unanswered...Why was Michael Douglas' character chosen for framing, how did they find out about the affair, what made Kiefer the best at his job, why was Eva chosen for this role!?!? The most important question though WHY DID THEY even WANT TO KILL THE PRESIDENT?!?! In order to follow a movie this complex you must understand the motives of the "bad guys".
Overall for a movie of this complexity to become a good movie it HAS to be 2 hours and 45 minutes or longer...no movie like this can develop the storylines and answer those questions in just 1 hour and 48 minutes!! when you cut it short like that you leave the probability of a RUSHED ending like we saw here that left more QUESTIONS than answers...VERY DISAPPOINTING to say the least...STAY HOME!...Holla! :-) |
