I found it hard to follow at the start and I really didn't like the world I was pushed into - the townships of South Africa - Joberg, I think - but the movie gently won me over and I began to appreciate how hopeless their lives were and how important it is for a man to find his dignity. Beautifully shot, with great understated performances, this film is exciting and heartbreaking at the same time. |
