I am a great fan of Steve Coogan, the star, and english humor in all forms, but this movie is NOT FUNNY at all.
There is no comedy whatsoever, and the film just rambles around, repeating the same very limited humorous single concept behind the story over and over again.
The actors in this movie must shout out the name "Steve" to the lead actor at least 2000 times in the two tedious hours.
Several people walked out in the middle of the screening.
The movie appears to have been made up as it went along, and it just didn't turn out to be funny.
The entire experience is an interminable and dull exercise in conceit. |
