A movie of this nature is worth watching to help us remember what really happened rather than what some supremists wish us to believe that these crimes were only imagined and/or deserved. The person who wrote "didn't watch it didn't watch it" and the person who wrote their comments in German were both probably cut from the same cloth; narrowminded and/or in denial about the facts. The movie can be painful to watch and one might want to look away at times but don't. I would also like to highly recommend "The Grey Zone" which never made it to theatres but I was privileged to see it as a sneak preview. It is also a horrific movie about the facts of Hitler's cruelty and bruises one's senses while watching it. There was a silence exiting the theatre after previewing "The Grey Zone" and it is worth finding it in a video store to view. These movies are hard to watch as was Schindler's List but a part of our history we need to remember to prevent it from happening again. |
