So, your misunderstanding bad reviews don't suprise me. It captures the laid back feel of the old time south with the bad assness of a modern day cowboy with a heart of gold and the common sense of copper. The acting was great, the writing was great, the soundtrack is amazing (A whole lot of Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson with a few southern rock tracks thrown in). It's one of those DVD rental suprises that is worth a view or two. Will Farrell as a grocery store manager is worth the time alone. |
