I rented this movie thinking I would be truly entertained for the next hour and fifteen minutes. Instead, I was wishing for it to be over asap. The story line itself was not bad, in the end it kept you guessing, but getting to the last fifteen minutes was pure agony. The worst scene of the movie is when all three main characters are eating lunch together with their SUPER HUGE cokes from fast food restaurants, complaining about their pathetic lives, and how poor they were. The sound of ice rattling in their large cups overwhelmed the entire scene. I watched this with three other friends that absolutely love independent films and they too were disappointed with how much the dialog was lacking, how much the growth of the characters were stunted, and how some things within the storyline just did not make sense. Overall, the movie was bearable due to the ending--it was the saving grace. |
