This film isn't earth-shattering or life changing, but it's good light-hearted fun for those times that you don't want to be hassled with thought-provoking issues.

Luke Wilson picks up a disguised Uma Thurmon on the subway after encouragement from his womanizer friend. She rejects him at first, but after he chases down the man who stole her purse, she's hooked. After all, as G-Girl, superhero of NYC, she is usually the one rushing to the rescue. The first half of the movie establishes their relationship.

The trailers focus on G-Girl's revenge following the break-up, but this portion of the film probably takes less than half an hour. As a woman, I wanted to cheer for G-Girl and her actions as a woman scorned, but Luke's character is fairly meek, so I ended up feeling torm between the two.

He takes control of the situation by teaming up with G-Girl's arch nemesis in a plot to rob her of her power. Does he succeed? Does G-Girl prevail? Tune in to find out...

Oh, and stick around after the first set of photo credits. There's a little snippet of a scene after those. I guess womanizers end up on top after all...
