Eight Below is the most wonderful animal movie that captures the unconditional love between the owner and the dogs and the unbreakable loyal bond between the pack. During the dogs' survival journey, the audiences are able to see the unique characterisitcs of siberian huskies and Malmuate that they are high intelligent and sentimental. They are very much like human. They are bounded by emotions. They experience the joy of exploring, the pain of loss and the hardship of suvival. Just like people in a society, there are leader and follower in their pack. Each dogs has their role in the pack. Some are thinking and some are workers.
Some may think this is a slow paced movie but in my opinion, the director purposely delivered the massage this way to show the owner's long and agonized process to find the dogs. Each day is a miracle for them to live.
I highly recommend this movie to anyone. Don't worry about being too sad when you leave the theater. This is a disney movie and there will be a happy ending. This is why the movie is inspired by a true story instead of based on a true story. |
