If you like to laugh and don't take things too seriously then you will enjoy this movie. I saw this movie last night and can tell you that there was lots of laughter in the audience. Some moments were predictable,some scenes were a tad bit unbelieveable and ultimately you know where the story is going but it is a fun ride getting there. The story reminds us that tomorrow is not promised to anyone so we should live each day to the fullest or at least have fun trying.
If you are looking for Oscar worthy Color Purple type of performances, you won't find any. But if you are looking for a fun time with a good message and nice visuals (except Latifah's hair which is a mess)then this is the movie for you. |
