This modern movie version of MID CENTURY MARTYRS, though artfully presented, requires the viewer to switch into the Warodani's eyes and heart...NOT an easy task. Simplistic screenplay, native spoken script, and fast subtitles only increase the challenge. However, at the end of spear, the Waodani's story is powerfully presented. You'll walk away with tears, glad that you experienced it their way. It was my privilege to know these people and to be on Palm Beach at the 25th Anniversary. Remember: It's THEIR Story that after 50 years, they agreed to share with us! |
