I went in with no expectations and found the most entertaining film of the summer albeit in September. Despite what the critics say, this film pulls you in from the beginning and doesn't let go. The cgi dogfight scenes are well done. The dialogue and humor are charming. Even the love story is tolerable and I usually hate stupid love stories messing up the action. This flick is smart, fun, and thoroughly entertaining. It is cartoonish and campy but not for little kids-lots of violence. |
