This is Ashley Judd's best performance ever...it's as though this part was written just for her! The rest of the cast is very suited to the genre. Jeffrey Donovan who plays Cal, Cal Purcell, will make any woman just want to take him home to Mama!
The script, while it is well done in it's own right, this would be a good movie even with a different cast...but really came to life for me...very real through the cast and the music.
I'll look forward to the next movie of Joey Lauren Adams. |
