What would you do if you were to wake up bloody in a room full of equally bloody strangers, all of whom have total amnesia about who they are and what they're doing there, some of whom might be out to kill you as soon as they regain their memories, or you might be out to kill them as soon as you regain yours? That's the premise of "Unknown," an imaginative premise that keeps the suspense going, and there's quite a twist in the end (I never saw it coming).
"Unknown" isn't "Die Hard," but so what? It's an enjoyable suspense flick with a unique plot and terrific acting from Jim Caviezel, Jeremy Sisto, Joe Pantoliano, Greg Kinnear, and Barry Pepper at their most intense, along with another deliciously eccentric Peter Stormare performance. I rented this through Comcast on Demand and thoroughly enjoyed it. |
