Although the film had it's moments, those moments are few and far between. When i first heard of the concept of this film (a video game that kills it's players in the same manner they die in the game)i have to admit it sparked my interest, however at the same time i thought "there's no way they can possibly make a truly scary movie with this idea" & i was right, this film just didn't do it for me. The moments that are intended to make you "jump" failed to do so, the killing scenes didn't once make me cringe or think "that was cool." On top of that the dialogue was cheesy, the characters didn't have much depth, the acting was subpar & rather than have ghosts that actually become live & in the flesh, they made them appear computer generated,like a video game character brought into the real world. All & all this movie was flat out lame. |
