This is definitely a love/hate type of movie. It's a gripping story about a woman's fight to overcome drugs and to win back the heart of her young daughter. Maggie G. is absolutely convincing and amazing in this role. She courageously takes on scenes that many actors would be too scared to do. This is definitely the highlight of her career thus far--her pain and suffering are portrayed flawlessly. The show displays the hardships of a life on drugs and does not try to downplay the true cruelties of such a life. |
