Okay, so there are a lot of haters out there and maybe they thought this was going to be an all comedy performance. Boo hoo. So then you write a bad review and cry. But if you like Dave Chapelle so much how can you possibly not like the culture that it came out of? Featuring some of the best hip-hop artists out there, this moving doc reads like a veritable black Woodstock, except its happening now and in the city. Real hip-hop not the trash that plays on TV and on the radio is featured showing the conscious side of the underground scene. Grow up kids and leave the blingin and blastin behind. This movie points the way to the future, where urban and rural folks can try to build a better tomorrow. |
