Below you will see the comment made by Musetto of the New York Post. When I saw that YAHOO folks rated this movie an A-, I emailed the New York Post telling them how Musetto was biased. Then I took the 7:55 p.m. show. It was a FULL HOUSE. THE FILM WAS INTENSE AND THE KING'S EYES ARE GORGEOUS TOO). COSTUMES WERE FABULOUS. IT IS NOT OVERBLOWN, OVERWROUGHT OR OVERLONG (WHATEVER MUSETTO MEANT BY THAT!) THERE ARE SOME FUNNY PARTS THROUGHOUT THE MOVIE. YOU SHOULD TAKE THE WHOLE FAMILY. I FOUND IT ENJOYABLE AND GAVE IT 2 THUMBS UP!! MUSETTO YOU NEED ANOTHER TRADE...YOU STINK AT THIS ONE!!
One Night with the King

October 13, 2006 -- DON'T get your hopes up for "One Night With the King." It isn't about a hot time in the sack with Elvis. No, it's a dull time in the theater with Esther. Esther (Tiffany Dupont) is a nice Jewish girl from ancient Babylon who becomes wife of Xerxes, king of Persia (an area now know as Iran), and prevents the slaughter of her race. (Nice going!) Director Michael O. Sajbel has gathered what is sometimes known as a "cast of thousands," as well as Peter O'Toole and Omar Sharif. The cinematography and sets look great, but the script is a bummer. It's overlong, overwrought and overblown. |
