I really likied this movie because I think it tapped into gambling and how it changes people, but still gives them a chance to be good again. The inner struggle between family and the need to play, the business of watching people lose it all or watching someone great be forgotten. Kim did a great job of portraying the addict and the physical emotions that occur from winning and losing. Movies don't always have to start and end as predicted with formula conclusions. I think this movie is worth watching not because it's entertaining, but because it's something I can relate too. |
