Dear Hollywood,
Stop shoving "fantastic heart warming fantasy" down our throats. This was someone's idea of a great film that would make us "feel". No. This appeals to folks who are on some board of directors somewhere making decisions on what "the people" want to see to make them feel good. When really, it is nothing but dribble. I was in a theater full of families (myself included) having to deal with what to do with the kids while they squirmed and whined because they were bored out of their minds. Bottom line? Forget it. You won't care about anyone and the entire story should have been a half hour special on tv. Not to mention the effects would have been cool in the late 90's. Thanks film industry for showing you can make nothing interesting yet again. |
