With fair visual effects and weak performances by Hoffman and Portman, I was hoping for a good story to keep me interested beyond an hour. For a Holiday movie where toys come to life, it should be much more fun than this. Feels like it's trying to be "Night at the Museum" just like The Cat in the Hat tried to be "The Grinch" a few years ago. |
