I expected so much more from this movie... I have been excited for weeks to see some of the Horrorfest movies and this one def looked liked on of the scariest. The idea for this movie was good but the plot did not follow through. First off it is supposed to be in Asbury Park in 2003. I don't know how much peopole know about Asbury but it is GHETTO... how do I know... I lived there for 6 years when I was younger so I know wut Asbury is...This movie was filmed in San Diego. At one point in the begiining of the movie you can see Palm Trees in the background (there r no palm trees ne where in jersey SPECIALLLY not Asbury). Anyway back to the plot. It starts off EXTERMELY slow, then picks up a lil bit, then slow again, then the VERY predicatble ending. Some of the visuals were good, but overall it was no where near as gory or scary as I thought.. Overall I'd watch this if it was on tv (yea it ould be on tv b/c it is no worse then movies like Scream as far as violence or gore), but I would not recommend it to a friend... its way too slow and predictable. I'm starting to secnd guess Horrorfest cause now I'm thinkin the REAL reason these movies were never released was b/c they suck and not b/c they r too scary for "normal audiences"... guess the studios thought this way they could at least make some monjey back...
