What most people don't realize is that this story was written by the same person that wrote Crash and Million Dollar Baby. This movie had a real view of relationships, and god knows there are not perfect. People who were dissapointed with this film need to get out of their happy , lovely dovey, bubble they live in. Everyone gets scared in relationships and freaks out. Hollywood tries to hide that fact. Real people can relate to this movie. Its about time we had a real relationship movie. The humor was not very strong, but it was just right. Hollywood is flooded with sappy romantic comedies, I'm glad this was'nt another one. Also people should not expect Zach Braff to be like his character in scrubs in every movie he does. That's not fair to Braff. This movie shows how Braff can play more than a corky young docter. Another side of Braff is shown in this movie, which shows how great of an actor he is and will be. Come into this movie as a serious look on making choices in relationships, not antoher episode of Scrubs or Garden State Two. Remeber Zach Braff did'nt write this one. If people read a little bit about the movie before they saw it they'd know that. If you want a lame done before romantic comedy go see Must Love Dogs, if you want a real, relatable, and strong movie, see this one. |
