ok we all have to admit that this is not the best werewolf movie out there. oh no it isn't, but this movie has an endearing quality that just makes you fall in love with. for me at least. i grew up watching this movie over and over. the movie makes you feel like you are on some psychodelic-acid trip. the special effects aren't the best. there are moments you just want to bust out laughing. jabowa(sp?) is a young werewolf from the outback that runs away from home because her stepfather wants her for his own. well, that is not going to happen. she runs off to sidney, gets spotted by a talent agent, gets a part in a werewolf movie as the victim, and well the rest is history. through the whole time three of her pack members are searching for her while dressed up as nuns. that is pretty hilarious. she falls in love with the talent agent. the werewolves have been found out and army and scientists alike are out to destroy them while some are out to save them. the werewolves actually become the good guys in this one. well as good as werewolves can get. the fight is on. the movie is not scary at all. the werewolves are hardly believable. the movie is very weird. must warn you on that one. there is comedy. cheesey but funny. |
