This movie is great, and here's why: The acting is great. There are a lot of big name, heavily-experienced actors in this film. That often means bad things for the cohesiveness of the story and acting. In this case it was great. Everyone played their role to perfection.

The story is well-written. It starts with enough mystery to get you hooked, and gradually unfolds to reveal the master plan.

The dialogue is intriguing. Some may find the film too talky, but really listening to the coversations shows the depth of the characters.

The 'Kansas City Shuffle' - a classic misdirection - not only is mentioned many times, but is acted out often in Lucky Number Slevin, in large and small ways.

I will watch this movie again, for I am sure that I will enjoy finding new elements to remember.
