I wonder if the movie would be so funny if the movie trivialized rape and sexual abuse of women or children. My guess is that people would find it dehumanizing and disrepectful; but somehow its O.K. to joke about men being forced to contract HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases thereafter being left bloody and beaten and not to mention the great emotional trauma that ensues. There is no conception of justice that includes such a violation of human decency and dignity, no matter how funny a few ignorant people may think it is. |
