Pleasantly Surprised

It's ironic that a young married couple (with no children) found more entertainment from a "kid/family" movie than one targeted for us. We were looking for a movie that we would find appealing. Unfortunately, there weren't many options to choose from. My husband and I, being fans of "Mary Poppins", were curious to see what this movie had to offer. Of course, seeing the trailer for the movie, I wasn't sure what to expect. This movie was a wonderful surprise. It was a nice reminder that magic is often found where you least expect it. I felt it had excellent visuals and the plot contained lessons that are timeless. Obviously, if you want a film that has complex plots and/or dialogue, this is not the one to see. However, if you'd like a lighthearted movie that can appeal to both the young and the young at heart, you find it in "Nanny McPhee". I highly recommend it. |
