This is a GREAT FILM!!!!!!!! I loved it, I loved every second of it. Its subject is COMPLETELY taboo, and it's tackled in a way that is both amazing and uncanny. The directing is hypnotic, the chemistry between Patrick Wilson and Ellen Page, is astonishing and vibrant.
Page's performance will become a landmark performance in Hollywood history, she seems innocent, but then she turns into a monster, almost an anti-hero. And this film completely took my anger away, and my aggressions, I totally wish this could be done to the Catholic Priests, but oh well. The violence in this film is overrated, but maybe it isn't, because I felt like I was going TO DIE!!!!!

You don't see anything in the castration scene, but you can hear it, it will leave you in a horrible trance for hours!!!! But don't be fooled by that scene when your watching it, and you'll find out what I mean, hehe. The films subject is basically lashing out against pedophiles, and it's GLORIOUS.
Call me a conservative, but I believe these people are not evil, they just need to either be killed, jailed, castrated or ALL OF THE ABOVE!!!! This film gives a whole new meaning to the term 'Ultra-violence', but it has a purpose, it's not a mindless, violent flick like EVERY single horror film that has been released in the last 4 years. This film is basically saying their is no good, and their is no evil, but sometimes good must stop Evil in an Evil way.
I have to give credit to Ellen Page for this, because she's sooo hot, and terrifying at the same time. She's a magnet, her performance is mesmerizing, and my respect for Patrick Wilson has finally been sealed. If you think he's great in "Angels in America", you haven't seen anything yet.
And this film is completely Hardcore, if you're a conservative *****, or a Liberal *****, then don't go to this film, it is NOT for you, this a roller coaster ride that will turn your insides, into mush, into GOOL!!!!! lol
I hope this film with get it's recognition, I hope people will hate this film, and love it at the same time. I want the controversy to put people in the seats, and make people sick. I want this film to end up like a Sam Peckinpah film, it's hated at first, but then it's loved in 30 years.
And this film COMPLETELY explains how I feel about Pedophiles, nobody cares if they die, do you?? Why can't they die?? Why can't they just all go to prison and (literally) get destroyed??!!! And why is the Catholic Church still in business?? And what's wrong with Crucifixions nowadays(lol)?? Oh well, these are questions that somehow disturb people. :(
And I think this film should have a sequel, and continue Haley's fight against evilness. She could have her own COMIC BOOK!!! She could be the next Batman, where she puts fear into those who prey on teenage girls. This could become a trilogy, and I hope this film won't get overlooked at the Oscars this year, but they've *beep* up before.
This is one of the best films of 2006, so far. But it's for the strong, NOT the weak. Hehe. ;)
