This movie is NOT funny, NOT interesting, NOT worth seeing. I think it is surviving purely on its endorsement by Spike Lee and the fact that its premise is brilliant. Unfortunately it just never finds any kind of footing. I get what the director/writer is going for, but its just really poorly directed and the actors are horrible. It is visually third rate, the actors are one dimesionally bad and the production in general is appaling. Then they try to hide how horrible the movie and how stupid its infomercials (mock-u-mercials?...) are by showing at the end of the movie that they are real products. Skip this experiment. It's just bad. My valve is shutting just thinking about it. |
