But what I didn't realize is that this movie was going to be so fresh and wild and crazy and cool and awesome and SMART?, yes SO SMART, and no I'm not talking about Amy Smart, though she is not only smart, but hot. This movie was the ultra cool version of what video game movies should be. I'm literally going back to the movie theater tonight to watch this again. And, no lie, I'm going back tomorrow, and maybe Sunday. There are so many things that I want to see again. I loved this film because it was so unpredictable, and certainly not what I thought it was going to be. The characters were so cool and like they were straight out of comic books. The movie was fast, blazing... but it took moments to rest and let the audience breath for a moment, like the old man in the hospital, which was weirdly a touching moment in such a violent film. I am truly amazed and happy that cinema like this is coming back. Thank you! |
