I loved the movie. I bought some popcorn (and snuck in some coffee), and went in with very little expectations this morning. Well, it woke me up. Jason Statham takes you on the ride of your life. Wow. It was a little violent, but certainly much funnier than I expected. The visual style was very frenetic. If I had to compare it with a movie, I'd say it was like Run Lola Run and a bit of Pulp Fiction. The Chinatown scene was wild, wild, wild. I can't spoil it, but Amy Smart will certainly get my 10 bucks from here on out. By the way, you will not need coffee for awhile after you see this movie. |
