This is a truly great film that will be listed among the classics. It is so beautifully crafted that each frame is a delight to behold. It is more a poetic study of human nature than a classic Western. The paranoid Jesse James is played brilliantly by Brad Pitt. Casey Affleck's portrayal of the sycophant Robert Ford is magnificent. Both actors deserve an Oscar, as does the film. |
