Remember when "Lord Of War" came out and was a fantastico movie? Ok, maybe not since apparently no one saw it. Still, the way that great Nicolas Cage number cleverly, hilariously addressed gun dealership, "Thank You For Smoking" hilariously and cleverly addresses lobbyists and the tobacco industry. And it, too, is fantastico.
This movie is truly funny and thoughful and, most importantly, well paced--the 90 minutes breezed by and I was kind of sad when they were over.
This movie isn't playing in very many theaters, which is unfortunate because I highly recommend it. So, drive if you have to. I did and I wasn't disappointed. |
