For those of you stuck on the "God has promised never to flood the earth again".....did you not notice that it was not God who created the flood here, but man and his greed (ie, the congressman who was responsible for the damn being built)? God only knew that it was going to break and provided an "opportunity"....which is the underlying message "he provides opportunities". I think it was brilliant that a simple and telling message could be woven into some really great humor. It was a good, lighthearted comedy that actually had some redeeming value....even my kids could see that without it being pointed out and we don't even go to chuch very regularly....God has a sense of humor, it's something he's given us as a survival mechanism. Great family movie....... |
