One reviewer said this movie had too many attempts at tear jerker moments. For me, they weren't attempts. This is a story of hope, second chances, and in some cases even redemption. Yes, it's cheesy at times, but since the obstacles of life touch every one of us, it resonates that this is the stuff of real life. I'm glad I saw this movie and I feel reminded that there is room in my own life to grow and become a better person. The story touched a chord with me. The Rock was great. I can't think of anyone other then Dwayne Johnson who could have played this part. |
