Yes you have your 2 lovers, the oddball parents, and the hilarious back up cast. But even though the same romantic comedy formula is being used again, Failure to Launch doesn't fail to be laugh out loud funny. Its cast is perfect and the story is fresh and funny to everyone and not just romantic comedy fans. I like comedies but not always romantic ones and this still packed in some good laughs. Mathew McKonehey is perfect for this role as being a 35 year old bum at home. The back up charactors were great too. If you've seen National Treasure it has Nicholas Cage's little computer buddy in this. And if you've seen elf, it has Buddy's love interst as a hilarious drunk woman that can't get any sleep because of mocking bird outside her window. The parents are good too. It's great! Go see it! |
