This movie was superb, I myself am a native New Yorker and this is remenescent of Bernard Goetz (he shot and killed some would be attackers on the train back in the 1980's). I loved this movie, as far as I'm concerned Jodie Foster can do no wrong! You see how she's just this regular everyday person who is thrown into a horrible situation and instead of being a victim she takes the law into her OWN hands. How out there has wanted to do that? Of course you see how that changes you as a person. In an time where women in movies are STILL nothing more than half naked/naked sex objects and victims it's completely refreshing to see strong female character step up and say NO MORE, I WILL NOT BE AFRAID! For you ding dongs out there NO I'm not saying take the law into your own hands,lol. I am saying that this movie ROCKED OUT LOUD!!!! |
