I can't describe how this movie made me feel. I think of myself as a moral person, and this movie definitely makes you question your morals. I realized that if I were put in Erica's (Jodie's)shoes, I don't know if I would have the guts to do what she did, but as I watched the movie I totally understood her actions. Call me violent or desensitized, I don't care. This movie was awesome. Nobody but Jodie could have played Erica. I cried for her. I laughed at some of the things she did. I hated the people who hurt her, and I LOVED the ending. Detective Mercer (Terrence) was also an interestng character. I had him pegged one way, but I was pleasantly surprised by his line at the end of the movie. It cracked me up. Both did some FINE acting in this movie. The way the movie was shot (darkness) really helped me get INTO it. I felt like I was actually there. I will definitely see it again, and I highly recommend it to those who like to see movies where they truly bond with the characters. |
