Definitely not for everybody

Chances are that you will not like this movie.
But if you like having your preconceptions challenged, like thought provoking and intriguing situations, love a good study of the human condition through a fictional character; AND, can handle uncomfortable and grotesque scenes, are able to watch objectively a scene that should drive a person to want to intervene and put a stop to it, and you can handle the mentally chaotic and surreal world that Gilliam creates, then this is the movie for you.
Otherwise, just go watch the usual sequel of your favorite movie series or some other safe and unimaginative film that comes out of Hollywood these days. |
