This movie started out great. I loved the characters and thought the acting was wonderful, especially Donald Sutherland. There were even parts of the movie that made me jump (which does not happen much for me). For most of the movie I was sitting on the edge of my seat waiting to see what happened next...and then the movie took a turn.
The ending that was chosen for this movie does not follow the stories that you hear. I grew up in Tennessee and have heard stories about the Bell Witch for most of my life. This is one take on the story that I never heard before. I thought this movie had so much potential, but felt let down when it was over. I don't think the ending that was chosen went with the rest of the movie. |
