"Antonio Banderas!" That's all I needed to hear

Overall, Take the Lead was an "okay" movie. I wouldn't necessarily compare it to the greatest movie in the world, "Dirty Dancing." I really admired the fact that Mr. Delanie was a teacher who volunteered his time to help troubled teenagers who didn't see a light at the end of their tunnel. Just by learning ballroom dancing they were able to trust other people and get to know other people for who they are and not just for what their outward appearance portrays. The ballroom was not as intense as I would have expected it to be. I think that if there was more dancing from Banderas, this movie would have been so much better and it would have attracted even more younger viewers than it did. |
