Okay, I admit it. I am totally taken with him, so my feelings about this movie may be a little biased. First off, this movie is being totally trashed by critics, and Jon is being attacked unfairly by them, along with the public in general. It seems that evey movie he is in people compare him to his performance in Napoleon Dynamite. GIVE IT A REST PEOPLE!!!!

I thought this was a good movie, a classic case of a nice guy winning out in the end. Maybe the critics and some of the American public is not ready for that. This movie is not really laugh out hysterical, but it was funny and cute. I never saw the original, so I cannot compare the two.

Actually this movie was quite a surprise to me in many ways. First, Jon has claimed he would never do a movie with cussing and drinking. There was a lot of cussing in the movie, and Jon's character, Roger was drunk from drinking wine.

This is a good date movie, especially if you are a nice guy on a first or second date...or if you want your date to think you are one!!
