I remember reading this book in grade school.
It is classic, and I was excited to share it with my little brother.
Nothing is ever as good as the book, or as good as I remember the book being at 8 years old, but the movie is what it is...a kid's story, for kids...and it sure can gross out parents, which is exactly what it is meant to do.
Enjoy it with you kids, take it for what it is...and let the kids enjoy being a kids, and watching other kids eat gross things and learn little life lessons along the way. |
