Put me to sleep. Boring. Trying to be true to the book is one thing but making a bad movie is another. The story had no purpose. We never learn who Chinaski really is or why he does what he does.
I am an avid Bukowski fan and this was an extreme disappointment. His books are readable and enjoyable. This was torture.
