Just got back from a private screening of "Alpha Dog". While watching it, I caught myself laughing along the jokes and holding on to my seat at the nerve-racking scenes. To be quite honest, Justin Timberlake did an amazing job, he definitely deserves the cred. I was sold. Ben Foster goes insane, and I loved him for that, I was definitely sold on that acting as well. I didn't think Emile Hirsch did a good job though, he was portrayed more of a wuss who's only souce of power is carrying a gun, without it he would be scum.
Overall, I believe this movie was worth watching. Emotional, Intense, and Funny at the right momment. |
