Although I asked the question but the answer doesn’t matter because when it comes to a movie all that matters is the fact that whether movie was made good or not? Whether the acting was good or not? So it was a dark movie or bad guys won! This is the way the story is.
I say it is a great picture. I say Penn “NAILED” it. This is definitely not a remake ( not that it’s bad to be a remake when more than half a century is passed and there is a talent like Sean Penn around). These facts must concern you when you go to a theatre. Have a good weekend.
P.S. For those who criticise this movie or compare it to that lamely done of 1949 (one of fellas was favouring the 1948! version over this): First go watch the movie then comment about it. Second go watch the 1949 (that is 1949) then compare it to this one. |
