Half-way decent for a low budget film

This movie, is of course, a Norse tale of beauty and the beast. When it first starts up you can tell it is a low budget film by the picture quality and little to no special effects. The story is there, although there isn't much passion in it. The main character's time spent with Odin's beast just seems a little too short. Don't be deceived by the cover, there is barely any fighting at all in this film and it isn't much of an action movie. If you find it on the clearance rack for 2 dollars I say go for it. It is hardly worth a rental, given that there are better movies out there. But it wouldn't hurt to give it a try. Just don't expect too much out of it. This is the type of movie you would see on the Sci Fi channel, one that was worth television but not worth being placed on the big screen. |
