I was blessed enough to catch a screening in nashville for this much hyped homage of 80's creature features. I left the theatre then, with the largest smile on my face. I had just seen a horror/comedy orgasm and pleased this viewer on every level a film can affect oneself. I am actually seeing this movie again on saturday to enjoy more of the subtext the film is trying to deliver. Which i am sure most of America won't get the undlying theme of total consumerism without restraints. The F/X were top-notch and the it tickled every funny bone in my body. |
