Slither was a horror film which I was surprised by. It definitely had my attention the whole time. It was quite suspensful and scary and had plenty of gore. There was a lot of humor in the film which I thought was kinda raunchy, but it did it's part to make the movie more interesting. The story is about this creature that lands on earth that came from outerspace. It injects itself into this guy who becomes a squidlike monster. He has a huge appetite and craves meat. After he takes a lady hostage and gives her the disease she eats until she is so big she explodes and spreads all of these slithery worms everywhere. If they get in your mouth you become part of the moster. Well, a select few are trying to keep themselves human and so are trying to get rid of the monster. One of them has a close call, and through the experience knows what it takes to save themselves.
There is plenty of gore and plenty of suspensful moments that often end in some sort of humor. Its an interesting film. C+ |
